Known for its expandable living spaces, French camper manufacturer Beauer presents the XVan, a removable van extension that allows the addition of a comfortable double bed. Located in the trunk, the extension deploys electrically in just 60 seconds and can be installed (or removed) in 10 minutes using the provided lift table. 

Designed to fit a wide variety of vans, the XVan is not specific to just one van model.

Beauer has created the XVan to make life easier on the road, allowing one vehicle to meet the user’s holiday and everyday needs. The extension incorporates a double bed and a window equipped with a mosquito net and blackout shutter. The walls have been made of 25mm sandwich panels that ensure effective insulation and peaceful nights.

On the sides, users will find four niches to store personal belongings while optimizing the interior space. For larger and bulkier items, a 50L chest is found under the bed. The extension of the safe protects the storage niches when folded, securing the valuables by keeping them out of sight.

The kitchen unit features the essentials for cooking in the wilderness: a sink, a gas fire, and a 40L 12V fridge with drawer. Two 10L water tanks — one for clean water and another for dirty — plus a small gas bottle ensure a self-sufficient and comfortable stay. A lounge area is available, consisting of a removable table, two front swivel seats, and the 2-seater bench seat.

For those interested in more, users can get add a pop-up roof offering two extra berths while allowing users to stand upright while they are inside. When closed, the height remains below 2 meters, practical for motorway tolls and parking bars. Additional options include a bike carrier, shower, roller blinds, heating, an auxiliary battery and solar panels.
